A-Best Locksmith offers a 90 warranty on labor and service call. In some cases, on my discretion, this warranty can be shortened or lengthened based upon the particular lock application. Any deviation, however, will be discussed with the client when work is being performed or discussed.

Most locks are guaranteed by the manufacturers. Some are guaranteed a year, some for as long as fifteen years. However, the guarantees are for materials and workmanship only. Yes, it is possible that in an industrial application, a lock may only last for one year. Vandalism and wear are never covered.

In order to claim warranty service, you must have and present a copy of the invoice. Without this, no warranty coverage will be considered. If, within 90 days, there is an issue with any lock work I have performed, I will honestly assess the issue and determine the proper solution. Do note that it is entirely possible that an older lock can malfunction after service simply because it was taken apart. Old clips and springs break sometimes because of removal alone.

Under no circumstances will I warranty your safe lock combination change. Such locks are beyond warranty. When changing a combination, I will test it multiple times. If it opens without fail, there is nothing more that can be done. When you close the safe and test it for yourself, be sure it is working.
